+<h1>HXEN - Hosted Xen </h1>
+<p>Hosted Xen (HXEN) runs the Xen core hypervisor as a Type-2 VMM on top of a regular operating system instead of the usual Type-1 methodology that the Xen hypervisor is designed for. HXEN is capable of
+running on top of any operating system but is currently being developed for Windows and Mac OSX. The project has been <b>archived</b>. If you are interested in
+restarting the HXEN project or starting a new project to port HXEN to another operating system, please contact your <a href="mailto:community.manager@xen.org">Community Manager</a>.</p>

+<h1>Citrix Project Satori</h1>
+<p> Project Satori is the result of a collaborative agreement between XenSource and Microsoft, and was carried forward after
+ XenSource was acquired by Citrix Systems. The base Satori components are released by Microsoft as the Linux Integration
+ Components for Hyper-V, and provide support for paravirtualized XenLinux guests running on Hyper-V. The Linux Integration
+ Components can be downloaded <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=eee39325-898b-4522-9b4c-f4b5b9b64551">here</a>.</p>
+<p> A major usability issue with the original Satori project is around Hyper-V's handling of input devices. When accessing
+ the console of a Hyper-V host via Terminal Services or Remote Desktop there is no mouse support available for the consoles
+ of non-paravirtualized ("unenlightened") guests, and accessing the host console directly results in a "captured" mouse
+ experience for guest consoles that is difficult to use. This is true for both Windows and Linux guests, and Microsoft
+ provides an enlightened mouse driver along with disk and network drivers for Windows guests. As a result Citrix agreed
+ to develop a enlightened mouse driver for Linux guests running on Hyper-V, known as the InputVSC driver, which is released here.</p>
+<p> The InputVSC driver requires the Linux Integration Components to be installed, and supports the same guest distro versions.</p>
+<p> To install the InputVSC driver: (you must be root:)</p>
+<p> 1. Download and attach the .ISO file to a Hyper-V guest with the Linux Integration Components already installed. </p>
+<p> 2. Copy the contents of the .ISO to the desired directory</p>
+<p> 3. Run setup.pl with the inputdriver argument:<p>
+<p><i> # ./setup.pl inputdriver </i></p>
+

+<p>The InputVSC driver is a combination of source code (top half, Linux-facing) and proprietary binary bits
+ (bottom half, Hyper-V-facing). This program is released under <a href="http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.txt">version 2 of the GNU General Public License</a>.
+ For clarity, the licensor of this program does not intend that a "derivative work" include code which compiles header
+ information from this program.</p>

+<h1>XCI - Xen Hypervisor for Client Devices</h1>
+
+<p>
+XCI is an embedded client hypervisor based on the Xen hypervisor using smaller libraries; giving a smaller memory and disk footprint than the standard Xen hypervisor. This product is intended for laptops or other mobile devices using standard Intel or AMD architecture.</p>
+<p>Two separate community projects are in active development for <a href="/products/xen_arm.html">ARM</a> users and <a href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/embeddedxen">embedded</a> device users.</p>

+<h3>Download It</h3>
+
+<p>XCI build system can be found in the build git repository; the build will automatically download everything needed to build the root image. The build requires that you have the following package installed on your host system:</p>
+

+<li>gcc and bcc</li>
+<li>git (DVCS)</li>
+
+<li>flex and bison</li>
+<li>as86, iasl</li>
+<li>bzip2</li>
+</ul>

+<p>note: For now, a 32 bits host environnment is necessary to build successfuly. building on a 64 bits host machine is not yet supported. It should be possible on any distributions when the packages mentionned has been installed, however since we can't test all distributions ourselves, we recommend building on a debian lenny chroot. we accept patches for build failures related to distributions differences</p>

+<p>The Xen Cloud Platform (XCP) is an open source enterprise-ready server virtualization and cloud computing platform,
+delivering the <a href="/products/xenhyp.html">Xen Hypervisor</a> with the XenAPI toolstack and support for a range of
+guest operating systems including Windows® and Linux® network and storage support, management tools in a single,
+tested installable image, which is also called XCP appliance. In short, XCP is a complete Xen distribution. </p>
+

+
+<h2>Incubation Projects</h2>
+<p>This list includes projects which we have not yet migrated to the <a href="/projects/governance.html">Governance</a> introduced in June 2011.</p>

+<h3>The Xen ARM Project </h3>
+
+<p>In recent months, Xen.org has seen an increased interest in Xen for the ARM architecture to augment the continuing
+work of Samsung on the <b>Xen ARM Project</b>. The project, led by Samsung, is responsible for the direct port of the
+Xen hypervisor to the ARM processor. </p>
+
+To help channel increased interest in Xen for the ARM architecture, Xen.org is working with Samsung and others
+on an initiative within the <b>Xen ARM Project</b> to extend the scope of the project. We want to ensure that
+Xen ARM can support future ARM based clients and servers, that ARM support is merged into mainline Xen by 2012
+and build a sustainable and diverse community around the project.</p>
+

+<h2>Archived and Completed Projects</h2>
+
+<h3>HXEN - Hosted Xen </h3>
+<p>Hosted Xen (HXEN) runs the Xen core hypervisor as a Type-2 VMM on top of a regular operating system instead of the usual Type-1 methodology that the Xen hypervisor is designed for. HXEN is capable of
+running on top of any operating system but is currently being developed for Windows and Mac OSX. The project has been <b>archived</b>. If you are interested in
+restarting the HXEN project or starting a new project to port HXEN to another operating system, please contact your <a href="mailto:community.manager@xen.org">Community Manager</a>.</p>
+
+<h3>Project Satori </h3>
+<p>Project Satori is the result of a collaborative agreement between XenSource and Microsoft, and was carried forward after XenSource was acquired by Citrix Systems.
